Guest Claire and family: The Best Dog06 March 2010
My dog Indy is the best dog because he rarely jumps on people.Sometimes he will run away with our other dog Bella and then we would have to chase them down the block but, sometimes its fun to do!We are so blessed to have Indy!
Susan Honeyman: thank you22 February 2010
I recently adopted a young cat named Denver, who is now the center of our small family and very loved. Thank you for taking such good care of him--he's so well behaved and affectionate! Many thanks for all you do there at the shelter.
best, Susan Honeyman
The Envicks: Yvonne's Pixie22 February 2010
Pixie is fitting in perfect with our family. She is the dog we have been looking for since last Feb. when my son's dog died of an auto accident.
She is smart. She only had 1 accident when we first got her. She is loveable. She loves everyone in our house. Her biggest love is with my son, Austin, who is the one who needed a friend like Pixie. She is fun. She loves to play with everyone including our big dog.
Yvonne did an awesome job training Pixie. We want to really thank you for working with her. That helped her be that much more perfect for us. Thanks again.

Crystal johnson: playful Dalton22 February 2010
We adopted Dalton in january. He has fit into our crazy family life just great. He has a sister named Molly(jack Russel),brother Max(jack russel),and another sister named Meme(pekingnese). All 4 of them play great togher. Whats even better Dalton likes to wrestle his new 14year old boy named Nick! He enjoys playing tag with his 8year old boy Kyle.
Ranie: Wyatt and Ranie: Tucker (aka Prada)06 February 2010
Remember "Prada" the big himalayan boy with pretty blue eyes and such a sweet social disposition!? He's going by Tucker (a nice laid back good ol boy name to fit his personality!) He's happily in Lincoln, Ne now and the most amazing best friend I could wish for. He warms my feet at night and always greets me with a purr or mew when I enter the room. He's claimed his own kitchen chair and if you sit there, he's sitting on you. Tucker is getting along wonderfully and charming everyone that comes to our home with his large stature and big blue eyes. His sweetness and socialness still amazes me everyday. Thank you so much!
Bruce Family: Lucy 02 February 2010
January 28th we adopted Finley, now Lucy. We saw her shortly after she was spayed that day and she wasn't looking very good. When my children and I walked into the room Lucy stood up and looked at us, we knew that she was "the one". Lucy has been the best addition to our family. Having grown up with cats all my life I was really looking forward to having another one. She is the sweetest little cat and my children and I love her dearly.
Schulte Family: Duke22 January 2010
We adopted Duke a Catahula Lepord Dog 3 years ago. He has found a great place to run and round up the horses and kids. He loves his two boys very much and always keeps a close eye on them. We were warned about the breed but have found a great dog who loves to learn new tricks and loves every person and dog he meets. Thank you so much for the wonderful dog who quickly became a part of our family.
Susan Falk: Oreo13 January 2010
Oreo is doing great and we are really enjoying him. My 4 grandchildren love him too. Thanks to all who had a part in giving Oreo a new home with us!
Dolores Barncord: Our adopted VIKKI28 December 2009
To our friends at the Humane Society;
Gary and I thought you would enjoy seeing our little (big) Vikki....alias Veronica). She has become so dear to us, and we have had so much fun training her, and she romps and runs with our Doberman all the time. She stills loves her squeaky toys, and loves to climb on Gary's lap........and believe it not, run and jump in the snow.
I've sent a picture of Vikki sitting on Gary's lap of just the other day, and hope you can find a place to put it in your office.
Thank you all again for such a marvelous, loving dog.
May this holiday season bring each of you much health and happiness!
Ashely Morgan and Nick: Harley and Trauma07 December 2009
Back in September, my fiancee and I adopted two puppies Harley, (then, Joker) a six month old Pitbull/Black Lab mix and Trauma (then, Kiera) an 8 week old German Sheperd/Rottweiler mix. We had recently bought our first home and we're looking to add two energetic bundles of furry joy. These two have become part of the epicenter of our lives, along with our prior pets, Darwin (an Aussie Red Heeler) and Delirium (a domesticated barn cat). Thank you again Kearney Humane Society! We look forward to adopting again in the future.
