Financial donations may be made in person, by mail or by telephone. The Humane Society accepts cash, checks and credit cards. Any amount is appreciated.

Dollar Signs Icon Donations of goods are helpful too. Because we contract with Hills Science Diet pet foods to provide our shelter with food, we are unable to feed any other type of food to our animals. But we are delighted to accept cat litter, beds, toys, dishes and items that might be re-sold in our retail shop. These items may be brought to the shelter during open hours.

Make a Difference

We are all constantly being "hit up" for donations. But, please remember that for less than a cup of coffee or a soda a day, you can make the difference in a dog or cat's life. It costs us over $100 to put an animal on the adopton floor and ensure that it goes home healthy. A check might not always be feasible, but you can donate in other ways.
