the animals at the Shelter!

Financial donations may be made in person, by mail or by telephone. The Animal Shelter accepts cash, checks and credit cards. Any amount is appreciated.
Donations of goods are helpful too. Because we contract with Hills Science Diet pet foods to provide our shelter with food, we are unable to feed any other type of dry food to our animals. But we are delighted to accept cat litter, beds, toys, dishes and items that might be re-sold in our retail shop. These items may be brought to the shelter during open hours.

Donate a Bed
Every shelter dog and cat deserves a soft and dry bed to sleep on. Donate a bed and make a big difference in their lives. We beds for most of our dogs and cats, but through wear and tear (and some chewing!) we can always use more to make sure that all of our adoptable pets are off the floor. Cats especially love the beds because it gives them two levels to play in the their condo!

Make a Difference
We are all constantly being "hit up" for donations. But, please remember that for less than a cup of coffee or a soda a day, you can make the difference in a dog or cat's life. It costs us over $100 to put an animal on the adopton floor and ensure that it goes home healthy. A check might not always be feasible, but you can donate in other ways.
