Hill's donates all the food for
the animals at the Shelter!

Financial donations may be made in person, by mail or by telephone. The Animal Shelter accepts cash, checks and credit cards. Any amount is appreciated.
Donations of goods are helpful too. Because we contract with Hills Science Diet pet foods to provide our shelter with food, we are unable to feed any other type of dry food to our animals. But we are delighted to accept cat litter, beds, toys, dishes and items that might be re-sold in our retail shop. These items may be brought to the shelter during open hours.

Free Photo Session
In the month of February, Brian Baer of Baer Photography is accepting a 30 pound bag of Science Diet pet food as the session fee for all pet portrait sessions. All food and a percent of sales will be donated to the Kearney Area Animal Shelter. To book a session call Baer Photography at 308-234-2601
Donate a Bed
Every shelter dog and cat deserves a soft and dry bed to sleep on. Donate a bed and make a big difference in their lives. We currently have 10 beds (all of which were donated), but we could use 10 more to make sure that all of our adoptable dogs are off the floor.

Make a Difference
We are all constantly being "hit up" for donations. But, please remember that for less than a cup of coffee or a soda a day, you can make the difference in a dog or cat's life. It costs us over $100 to put an animal on the adopton floor and ensure that it goes home healthy. A check might not always be feasible, but you can donate in other ways.
